Action on Crime

by John Shaw on 21 November, 2010

Met with our beat officers and other local representatives this week to review local crime statistics and agree priorities at the local police neighbourhood panel. According to the statistics, the most common problem currently is rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour. Much of this is taking place at the Kings Furlong shops. Next most common is criminal damage, often to vehicles, followed by drugs which often hits the statistics as a result of police spot checks.

Following on from the panel meeting, key local police priorities for the next few weeks are continuing work to tackle rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour, drugs and crime prevention. Take care at this festive season not to leave your Christmas presents or their tell-tale boxes on display for thieves!
