Work’s due to start to improve pedestrian access along Alencon Link week commencing 22nd April. Make allowance if you’re driving to Houndmills, South View or Oakridge as it’s going to be one way only (southbound) for a while, with diversions signposted, so the work can be done safely.

I recently attended the local police Neighbourhood Panel Meeting which sets priorities for our local community safety team. These include theft, criminal damage and problems after school at Cranbourne.

A planning application has recently been submitted for the house on the corner of Worting Road and Attwood Close by the Morrison’s roundabout. The Council reference for this is BDB/77849 and details can be viewed on the Council website www.basingstoke.gov.uk This follows years of pressure from the Lib Dem team on the Council to take action.
